The Central Bank sets the official working hours for banks during the last week of Ramadan and the days of Eid Al-Fitr holiday

The Director of the Banking and Monetary Control Department at the Central Bank of Libya, Mukhtar Al-Taweel, issued a circular to the general managers of banks regarding setting the official working hours in banks during the last week of Ramadan and the days of Eid al-Fitr holiday.

According to the circular, the official working hours for employees in banks during the period from April 24 to 28 will be from 10 a.m until 4 p.m, and on Saturday, April 30, the working hours will be from 10 a.m until 2 p.m. As for citizens, the banks will be open half an hour after the start of work, at 10:30 a.m, and the closure will be half an hour before the end of work as well.

The circular of the Director of the Banking Supervision and Monetary Department at the Central Bank also stipulated that Eid al-Fitr holiday for bank employees would be from the second of next May, and that the return to work would be on the eighth of May.
