The Parliament Spokesman Abdullah Belhaq confirmed to our source that the Parliament Head Aqila Saleh addressed a letter to the Attorney General, the Governor of the Central Bank and the heads of the regulatory bodies on Monday, requesting to not deal with the national unity government headed by Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh and to limit dealing with the Libyan government headed by Fathi Bashagha as the legitimate executive authority.
In his speech, Aqila Saleh demanded that all institutions, departments, interests, public and private companies, as well as diplomatic missions do not deal in any way or speak on behalf of the “outgoing” government of national unity, and also requested working to close and freeze all decisions records and books of incoming and outgoing government correspondences.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives stressed the need to deal with the Libyan government alone, as it is the executive authority that has legitimacy in accordance with the decisions of Parliament, with the need to take the necessary measures against violators.
