To increase the production capacity of power plants, the Aziziyah valve was opened and Al-Karimiyah station was supplied with natural gas

The National Oil Corporation announced the opening of the LVS 5 valve on Tuesday, located in the Sidi Al-Sayeh area, and the supply of natural gas to the Krimiya reduction and metering station, which is responsible for supplying the southern Tripoli power station, through the coastal gas line that is fed from the main gas compressor station in Brega. 30 million cubic feet per day for the aforementioned station, and the total quantities of gas transported through the Western Gas Line amounted to 150 million cubic feet per day.

This was according to the instructions of the head of the Corporation, Ben Gdara, as part of the efforts exerted to increase the production capacity of the power plants, and work is being done to gradually increase these quantities to reach 200 million cubic feet of gas per day from the Brega station.

Farhat Ben Gdara praised the level of cooperation and coordination with major consumers, led by the General Electricity Company and the Iron and Steel Factory.
