Dbeibeh follows with Shakshak government spending and support for the General Electricity company to stabilize the network, increase production, and confront the summer peak

During a meeting today, Tuesday, the Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh followed up with the President of the Audit Bureau Khaled Shakshak on government spending, ensuring transparency and fair distribution, activating the public tender for medicines and medical supplies, implementing the new school project, supporting the General Electricity Company, and providing the necessary resources to stabilize the network, increase production, and confront the summer peak.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Bureau, Alaa al-Mesalleti, and the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Adel Jumaa. The attendees agreed to hold an expanded meeting with the Ministry of Health, the Medical Supply Agency, and the Ministry of Finance to start implementing the public tender, which has been delayed since 2009, as the first steps to correct the health sector’s situation in Libya.

During the meeting, it was agreed to start qualifying national companies capable of launching the new school construction project, as no new school has been built according to approved specifications since 1992.

The meeting emphasized the need for integration between the executive and supervisory state institutions to ensure providing good services to citizens, reduce corruption, enhance the disclosure and transparency principle in all procedures, and focus on the programs of the General Electricity Company and support it to ensure network stability during the summer period.
