A fuel depot exploded in Al-Jadid neighborhood

An informed source in the city of Sebha reported the explosion of a fuel depot in the Al-Jadid neighborhood in the city of Sebha.

17 people among the citizens were injured as a result of this explosion, 11 cases of which arrived at Sebha Medical Center, 3 cases at Sebha International Hospital and 4 cases were taken to Aseel Al-Ghad Clinic. There are no deaths or critical cases.

The Minister of Health of the National Unity Government discusses with the Swiss Ambassador the joint cooperation in the medical field between Libya and Switzerland

The Minister of Health in charge of the Government of National Unity, Ramadan Bou Janah, discussed with the Swiss ambassador to Libya, Joseph Ringli, a number of files, the most important of which is benefiting from the Swiss expertise in operating hospitals and medical centers, in addition to exchanging experiences between the medical centers in the two countries.

This came during a meeting held by Bou Janah and Ringli in the presence of the Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation of the Government of National Unity, Ali Al-Abed, where the parties discussed strengthening joint cooperation between the two countries in the health aspect.

For his part, the Swiss ambassador affirmed his country’s keenness to strengthen bilateral relations with Libya, and its willingness to cooperate in the field of pharmaceutical industries and to train medical personnel.

Bashagha: “The US Foreign Ministry Financial Transparency Report shows the corruption of the government of Dbeibeh, and these practices must be ended”

The head of the Libyan government emanating from the parliament, Fathi Bashagha, said that the financial transparency report of the US Foreign Ministry shows the extent of financial corruption in the National Unity Government, which he described as expired.

On his Facebook page on Wednesday, Bashagha added that these practices must end, which his government will work to achieve, as he described it.

Bashagha explained that he will focus on applying the principles of accountability, transparency and compliance in all state institutions, and will work according to a budget approved by the Parliament.

Bashagha stressed the need for the independence of the National Oil Corporation, and the preservation of the country’s natural resources through a clear mechanism for managing them for the direct benefit of the Libyan people, in addition to establishing democracy through achieving financial stability.

The Higher Committee of the Youth Housing Initiative: The first phase will include 18,000 loans and 21,000 plots of land

The Higher Committee of the Youth Housing Initiative held its urgent meeting to discuss the final version submitted by Saving and Real Estate Investment Bank and Libyan Company Preparation & Urban Development, according to those who were counted in the system.

The Chairman of the Supreme Committee stated that the first phase will include 18,000 loans and approximately 21,000 plots of land whose procedures have been completed. The follow-up of the working mechanism in the second phase of lending and land distribution program, explaining that the distribution will start after the sub-committees in the municipalities complete the screening work for the applicants and determine the priority of the beneficiaries.

This was in the presence of the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Director General of the Economic and Social Development Fund, the Management Committee of the Saving and Real Estate Investment Bank, and the Management Committee of the Libyan Company Preparation & Urban Development.

African Union President Macky Sall confirms being a key supporter of achieving the Libyan people’s desire to end the transitional stages and to go to elections

The President of Senegal received the President of the African Union, Macky Sall, today, Monday, at the presidential palace in the Senegalese capital, Dakar, praising the efforts of the Government of National Unity to return to Africa, activating a number of political and economic projects linking it to the continent, and discussing the results of the second session, the need to complete and activate its results, and the formation of a committee Preparatory work for the two countries to coordinate the holding of the meeting of the third session of the committee to increase cooperation between the two countries.

Hammad and Al-Qatrani discuss the struggles and difficulties facing the work of the Ajdabiya Municipal Council, the suspended projects in the city, and its urgent needs

The Minister of Planning and of Finance of the Libyan government, Osama Hammad, met with Deputy Prime Minister, Ali Al-Qatrani, to discuss the needs of the Municipal Council of the municipality of Ajdabiya, and to discuss the struggles and difficulties facing the functioning of the suspended projects in the city and its urgent needs.

Al-Qatrani stressed the government’s support for the council, overcoming the difficulties that impede its work, and putting in place appropriate solutions to some of the other difficulties facing the council and preventing it from performing its work in the correct manner.

Al-Kilani discusses the progress of the rental allowance process for the displaced persons

The Minister of Social Affairs in the Government of National Unity, Wafa Al-Kilani, met with the Undersecretary for Branch Affairs, in the presence of the Ministry’s financial advisor.

During this meeting, they discussed the work of the branches and the equipment that the Ministry recently distributed to the branches in order to perform their work in a better way.

Dbeibeh assures the provision of the textbook for all students and confirms the payment of bonuses to the employees of the examination committees

The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, met today, Sunday, at the Cabinet Office, with the Minister of Education, Musa Al-Maqrif, to follow up on the evaluation of the measures taken by the ministry to conduct the preparatory and secondary exams, the difficulties faced by students and the observations of parents, and to follow up on the ministry’s steps for the beginning of the academic year 2022-2023.

Dbeibeh stressed the necessity of disbursing the rewards of the employees of the examination committees in appreciation of their efforts, with the need to give the full degree to the questions in which errors occurred or are not clear, assuring that the textbook will be available to all students and students at the beginning of the school year.

The meeting was attended by the directors of the Educational Facilities Authority, Ali Al-Quwairah, of the National Examination Center, Ahmed, of the Curriculum Center, Kamel Al-Weba, and the Minister’s advisor, Abdul Salam Al-Saghir.

For his part, the Director of the Curriculum Center said that about 40% of the textbooks are in the Ministry’s stores, and the procedures for the rest of the quantities are going very well.
