The President of Senegal received the President of the African Union, Macky Sall, today, Monday, at the presidential palace in the Senegalese capital, Dakar, praising the efforts of the Government of National Unity to return to Africa, activating a number of political and economic projects linking it to the continent, and discussing the results of the second session, the need to complete and activate its results, and the formation of a committee Preparatory work for the two countries to coordinate the holding of the meeting of the third session of the committee to increase cooperation between the two countries.
Macky stressed that the African Union will be a key supporter of achieving the desire of the Libyan people to end the transitional stages and to go to elections.
For his part, Dbeibeh stressed the need to continue his efforts and communication with all international parties to urge them to support elections, which would not be complete without meeting the head of the African Union and coordinating positions with him.
