Abdul Kafi to our source: “The Clashes Between RCTOC and Brigade 444 are a manifestation of the poor performance and weakness of the GNU and the Presidential Council”

The military and strategy advisor to the former Supreme Commander, Colonel Adel Abdul Kafi, stated today, Wednesday, to our source, about the events in the capital, Tripoli, and the clashes between Al-Radaa for Countering Terrorism and Organised Crime and Brigade 444, that it showed a very bad performance of the National Unity Government, the Minister of Defense, and the Presidential Council, and how weak it is in issuing orders and ending the clashes, where confrontations are expected to occur at any time, and a change in the map of alliances is on the horizon now, and this is what leads the capital to dangerous confrontations that affect the security of the citizen.

Abdul Kafi explained that the Supreme Leader, President of the Presidential Council, and head of the National Unity Government, the Chief of Staff and the Ministry of Interior must end this mess left by the previous Presidential Council headed by Fayez al-Sarraj, which issued disastrous decisions that harmed the stability of the capital.

Abdul Kafi added that these clashes come within the framework of several problems that the security and military formations are going through, which started with the bad decisions issued by the Presidential Council previously led by Fayez al-Sarraj that it gave a decision to follow one of these formations, specifically the deterrence apparatus, and the Ministry of Defense also gave a decision Subordination to Brigade 444, and this is not equal in terms of security and military, and these decisions are the ones who planted the disastrous nucleus of the formations, which resulted in all the confrontations that are taking place now inside the capital, Tripoli.

Adel Abdul Kafi emphasized that the state is supposed to have two institutions, the General Staff and the Ministry of Interior, followed by all military formations, to receive orders from them and determine their tasks, powers, places of work and concentrations.

Abdul Kafi also explained that the most important reason for these events is due to the current Presidential Council led by Mohamed Al-Manfi, Abdullah Al-Lafi and Musa Al-Kouni. The National Unity Government did not take any measures regarding correcting and correcting these decisions by canceling them, and making these dependencies or formations belong to the General Staff and the Ministry of Interior in order to govern these bodies.

Abdul Kafi said that no strategic plan has been developed for these formations, as the poor performance showed the poor performance of the existing political bodies and their inability to form these formations, which have become imposing their political and economic decision on the authorities of the state, as they are given their own budgets, with an open validity that exceeds that of Chiefs of Staff and the Ministry of Interior, and the similar tasks of the two apparatuses of RCTOC and Brigade 444, and this is what led to these abuses.

The military advisor indicated that perhaps we will witness, after the recent developments of these clashes, that new alliances will emerge, from the formations that were excluded from the capital, Tripoli, and that it is possible that they will move towards alliances with one of these parties that wrestled yesterday in order to destroy the other party, and this what will drag the capital into bloody confrontations that will lead to very severe dangers to the security of the citizen and send a negative image to the Libyan interior and the international community, confirming the weakness of these authorities and their ability to control these formations.
