Banking Expert Fawzi Dadash: “Central Bank Unification Announcement a Real Victory for the Nation”

The banking expert, Fawzi Dadash, commented to our source today, Sunday, that the convening of the Central Bank of Libya today, in the presence of the governor, Al-Kabeer, and his new deputy, Marai Al-Barassi, and a number of department directors and consultants in the bank, who participated in this meeting, is a step in the right direction to address the circumstances and bottlenecks that it accompanied drawing the monetary policy completely and soundly for a long period of time and a new revolution by all standards in the Libyan banking arena.

Dadash explained that he doubted that the announcement of the governor and his deputy declaring the Central Bank a unified sovereign institution is a real declaration based on the end of the period of division that this economic institution went through and negatively affected all aspects, adding that especially the monetary, economic and social aspects and pave the way for building a state of law and real institutions, which one of the most important is the unification of the Central Bank.

During his comment, Dadash stressed that this step and its announcement today is a real victory for the homeland and the citizen in all parts of Libya, as well as the implementation of the plan of real openness towards the process of development, construction, investment and promising development locally and internationally, especially through the required role that the banking sector will play in these areas during The coming period as a glimmer of hope for the Libyan economy.
