With the civilian population as human shields, as it refuses to surrender and threatens to use weapons inside the capital, which is inhabited by a safe population, and the airspace is closed to flights between the West and the East, in violation of Security Council resolutions, the ceasefire agreement and the agreements of the 5 + 5 committee, in order to prevent entry to the presidency and ministers, in addition to the kidnapping of ministers and preventing them from entering Performing the legal oath.

The Libyan government reassured the Libyan people that it came with a pure national will, and is very keen on the blood of Libyans, the safety of civilians and the security of the country, and that it will not allow any adventurer to drag it into the shedding of a single drop of blood, and will work with all seriousness and responsibility to unite the country under one authority in order to restore the state and to build its institutions, sovereignty, security, stability and prosperity. This will only come with the integration of authorities and the support of the people.

The American ambassador communicates with Bashagha and Dbeibeh to stress the need for negotiation to find a political solution

The US Ambassador to Libya, Richard Norland, said that he contacted the Prime Minister-designated by the House of Representatives, Fathi Bashagha and the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh to stress the need for negotiations to find a political solution to the situation in the country.

The Central Bank’s liquidity team reveals the delivery of Gharyan’s issuance of 35 million to the branches of Jumhouria Bank in Al-Jabal Al-Gharbi

The liquidity team of the Central Bank of Libya revealed that the Gharyan issuance department of the Central Bank of Libya delivered a liquidity shipment of 35 million dinars to the branches of Jumhouria Bank in Al-Jabal Al-Gharbi, within the framework of the Central Bank of Libya’s plan to provide liquidity in all branches of commercial banks and on an ongoing basis.

7 million have been allocated to Gharyan branch, 4 million to Ashwayrif branch, 4 to Qaryat branch, 4 million to Qawasim branch, 4 million to Al-Asabaa branch, 4 million to Nesma branch, 4 million to Al-Shgega branch, and 4 million to Gharyan Islamic banking. A National Commercial Bank official said: The General Attorney suspends the previous board of directors and demands the formation of a committee to limit the actions

An official in the National Commercial Bank said exclusively that the General Attorney suspended the previous board of directors of the National Commercial Bank headed by Abdul Wahab Mukhtar and impersonated the general manager Salem Faraj for their violations and abuses pursued by the board of directors.

The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya and his accompanying team met today, Thursday, with the Director of the Middle East and Central Asia Department of the International Monetary Fund, Jihad Azur and the Deputy Director of the Financial and Monetary Markets Department, Miguel Savastano.

The meeting discussed the International Monetary Fund’s support for the capabilities of the Central Bank of Libya in the field of statistics, indicators and monetary policies, as well as the program of visits of the Fund’s technical teams to Libya.

In conclusion, those present on behalf of the Fund praised the important role of the Central Bank during the past periods in the sustainability of the state and the stability of the economic and financial situation.

Jumhouria Bank signs a partnership agreement with the international company Visa

The Jumhouria Bank has signed a partnership agreement with Visa, the global leader in digital payments technology, to assist in digital transformation services, expand the customer base, build a sustainable payment system across multiple channels and sectors, and benefit from the best services and electronic products of Visa for the bank’s customers.

The agreement signed between the two parties focuses mainly on the issuance and support work for the bank to enter into acquisition services and accept payments from Visa card holders, whether citizens or foreigners. Small and medium-sized retailers and institutions with multiple and diverse payment needs.

The Deputy Director General of the Jumhouria Bank, Nuri Abu Flija, confirmed that this agreement is a shift for the bank to develop its services and meet the needs of customers, in addition to training the bank’s employees and obtaining advisory services.
