Domenico Spina, the head of external relations for the Italian company Eni, said that the company has suspended all contracts related to the purchase of oil and gas from Russia, as Eni will respect every decision taken by European and Italian institutions in particular.
Spina explained, regarding Italy’s demand for more Libyan gas, by saying: « We are waiting for an answer from the Italian government to work on it, but at the moment the government has not made any suggestions in this regard. »
