Today, Monday, the Chairman of the Directors Board of the National Oil Corporation, Mustafa Sanalla, signed the extension of the security management system for the memorandum of cooperation signed with the General Director of Eni North Africa B.V. , Antonio Baldasari and Luca Colombo, in the presence of both the member of the Directors Board for Exploration and Production, Abu al-Qasim Shanqir and the Director of Maintenance and Projects Department, Najmi Karim.
The memorandum provided a series of activities to improve security standards through a capacity building program for industrial security personnel at the National Oil Corporation and Mellitah Oil and Gas Company.
It also represents a step towards improving security standards in the Libyan oil and gas industry to support petroleum operations. Despite the unprecedented challenges, the National Oil Corporation in cooperation with Eni remains committed to continue to make maximum effort to develop and improve security standards for the oil and gas industry in Libya.
