The Minister of Oil and Gas participates in the “OPEC +” meeting and confirms that Libya is still excluded from production cuts

The Minister of Oil and Gas in the Government of National Unity, Mohamed Aoun participated today, Thursday, in the twenty-eighth meeting of OPEC and non-OPEC oil exporting countries via video technology, which dealt with the review of the report on the status of the global oil market and developments in oil markets.

During the meeting, it was agreed to continue compensating the production cuts agreed in April of the year 2020 by 432,000 barrels of crude oil per day from next June, and Libya will be excluded from these cuts, and it was also agreed to hold the next meeting of the organization on the second of next June.
