The Minister of Interior of the Government of National Unity, Khaled Mazen, confirmed today, Tuesday, that the ministry is working to disburse the planned increases to its employees according to the tables attached to Law No. 5 of 2018 and its amendment No. 6 of 2019, so that they will be disbursed as of January of 2022.
Mazen explained that “the ministry formed a joint committee with the Ministry of Finance to match the data of the affiliates of the Ministry of Interior, which has completed a large percentage of the work entrusted with matching the data of the security directorates, agencies and bodies affiliated with the ministry, with the exception of five security directorates and two agencies, we are waiting for their data to be completed within the next two days.”
The Minister of Interior added that the committee is about to finish its work, noting that all procedures related to the ministry’s employees at the Ministry of Finance will be ended at the end of next week, and then the employees of the Ministry of Finance will work to start disbursing the increases scheduled for the employees and members of the Ministry of the Interior for this year.
