The General Electricity Company said that the theft, looting and attacks against the electrical network and its components continued and increased significantly in more than one area, which led to the Company incurring double material costs and losses and increased the suffering of the citizens as a result of long hours of power outage.
The company explained in a publication today, Thursday, that the latest attacks were the theft of low-pressure copper wires at a distance of 1359 meters and 13 columns, in addition to the theft of low-pressure wires at a distance of 2000 meters and 15 columns from the line “Ras Al-Tabla Branch Ahmed Al-Filali” in the Nesma Distribution Department that is a part of Gharyan Distribution Department , which led to a power outage in a number of residences in the area.
