The head of the State Audit Bureau, Khaled Shakshak, followed up today, Tuesday, during his meeting with the head of the Passports, Nationality and Foreigners Affairs Authority, Youssef Murad, the procedures of the electronic card system, including the procedures for the completion stages, and the authority’s procedures regarding the transition from issuing machine-readable passports to electronic passports.
Shakshak stressed the role of the Bureau in supporting the Authority in completing the required security measures, the task required to maintain the confidentiality of data, issuing passports and electronic cards, and the need to facilitate issuance procedures, due to their positive impact.
The Chief of the Bureau stressed the necessity of resolving all the problems and obstacles that hinder the launch and completion of these issues, in the presence of the competent departments of the Bureau and the Department.
