On Tuesday, the head of the Audit Bureau, Khaled Shakshak, discussed with the mayor of Khums and members of the municipal council the procedures for implementing the projects that the Unity Government has started to implement within the municipality, including completing the roads inside and outside the general plan, a project to construct a bridge at the entrance of the city, and projects for constructing and completing schools and clinics.
The meeting discussed the procedures for completing the implementation of a university complex project, reviewing the progress rates in these projects, the problems and obstacles that accompanied the implementation process, and the urgent need to complete them as soon as possible.
Shakshak confirmed the role of the Audit Bureau in supporting the completion of these projects and others, as they have a positive impact. He emphasized the need to resolve all the problems and obstacles that hinder the completion of these projects.
It was agreed to hold a meeting with the Housing and Facilities Projects Implementation Agency to resolve contracting procedures regarding infrastructure contracts and the possibility of completing them and benefiting from them. The meeting will be attended by the General Director of the Center for Development and Administrative Centers, the General Director of the Transportation Projects Implementation Agency, and the directors of the relevant departments of the Audit Bureau.
