Lathron contract was worth 47 million, which was denied by Dbeibeh and rejected by Libyana company

Libyana Mobile Phone submitted a report for the evaluation of the offer submitted by Lathron. The former president, Faisal Qarqab, confirmed during Flusna program that the contract was worth 47 million and that the company was owned by the son of Dbeibeh and that this contract had caused his dismissal and imprisonment.

The Libyana evaluation report included that the value of the contract is very high, and the company asked to pay 40% of the contract value, that is to say 18.766 million dollars, immediately upon signing it and without providing guarantees. The contract is marred by corruption and ambiguity because the company was established a year and a half ago and did not implement any projects inside Libya, and that its submitted offer is not acceptable.

For his part, the head of the national unity government, Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, and the head of the Telecommunications Company, Mohamed Ben Ayad, denied the existence of a company called Lathron that was contracted with.

Dbeibeh also sent a complaint to the Public Prosecutor against Faisal Qarqab to investigate the Lathron file and his willingness to appear in this regard.
