Karim to our source: “Public works for water and sanitation continues to pump rainwater in areas that do not have the infrastructure”

The spokesman for the General Company for Water and Sanitation, Mohamed Karim, told our source today, Wednesday, that the company’s work is continuing to pump rainwater in areas that do not have the infrastructure, as bottlenecks have been resolved in some areas, including those in Janzour, Al-Rutimi and Sayad, Al-Mayah, Al-Sawani Road and Al-Ghararat area, in addition to Ain Zara and Al-Bifi areas.

Karim confirmed that the bottlenecks were resolved in the areas where there is infrastructure at the time within the neighborhoods in the center of the capital by the men of the Operation and Maintenance Department, appealing for the support of the General Company for Water and Wastewater, and the support of its employees, who were not included in the increase in their salaries, as in the rest of the sectors.

He added that the company allocates phones for the main communications room at the numbers 0213608870 and 0910349051 to report on communications from citizens and public authorities regarding reports of rainwater suffocation and the work entrusted to the company.
