Businessman Husni Bey said that the reason for the stagflation existing in the country during this period is due to the rise in the price of the dollar and the decrease in the money supply by 30% within 6 months, in addition to the division of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Libya, which caused the failure to approve the price reduction and the price difference between “cash” and “electronic payment instruments”.
He added that all that is required of Libya and the Libyans, for now, is to fight terrorism, produce and export oil and gas, and achieve the elections’ due date to approve an elected government. He pointed out that the majority of those in power now from the legislative authorities represented in the parliament and the State Council, and the executive represented in the government, as well as all those who believe in allegiance to the individual and all hereditary systems, are rejecting the choice of the Libyan people in the elections.
