Highlights of today’s cabinet meeting

Today, Wednesday, June 1, the Cabinet of the National Unity Government, in its sixth meeting of this year, approved the agreement with Guinea-Bissau related to the debts owed by it, and the minutes of the main and sub-committees and statements of compensation for real estate owners in the implementation of the Ubari Al-Fajij 220 kV line.

The Cabinet agreed to establish a government contact center affiliated with the Council of Ministers, and allocate a rent allowance for a whole year to the Tawergha displaced in the camps in the capital, Tripoli.

During this meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister Hassan Al-Qatrani was assigned to follow up on the contracts submitted by the Reconstruction Fund for Benghazi and Derna, to approve the contracts required from the Sirte Reconstruction Fund, and to review the submissions from the Fund.

The proposal of the Ministry of Economy and Trade regarding the establishment of the Libyan Grain Bureau was also approved.
