Exclusive: Ghaith Mrajaa to Our Source: “The Central Bank has not published its financial statements since 2010”

The former member of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Libya, Mrajaa Ghaith, said in a special statement to our source, that the Central Bank has not published or prepared the financial statements since 2010, even for the bank without review and writing on them as “unreviewed,” as it excuses the failure of the Audit Bureau to complete the review. The report itself contains nothing new, the same errors and lack of transparency.

Ghaith stressed that it is not the bank’s jurisdiction to publish this report, as this is the exclusive jurisdiction of the Ministry of Finance, quoting a popular proverb that says, “Charity begins at home”.
