Dbeibeh discusses with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malta a number of economic and political files of interest to the two countries

The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, discussed today, Sunday, with Maltese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ian Borg, and his accompanying delegation at the Cabinet Office, a number of economic and political files of interest to the two countries, in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Najla Al-Mangoush.

Dbeibeh stressed the need to increase cooperation in the fields of energy, open the air file between the two countries through Mitiga and Benina airports, and increase cooperation in combating illegal immigration.

For his part, Borg indicated the importance of this visit and his discussion of important files with the Minister, Al-Mangoush, regarding supporting the elections in Libya and the success of the economic talks in the field of renewable energies that took place between the Maltese Minister of Energy and the Minister of Oil and Gas, Mohamed Aoun.

Al-Mangoush indicated that there are serious steps that will be taken in a number of areas that were discussed.
