Bashagha: « We will reach the capital, Tripoli, in the next few days, and there will be no other parallel government »

The Libyan Prime Minister designated from the House of Representatives, Fathi Bashagha, confirmed that he intends to move to the capital in the most peaceful way possible, stressing that his government will not be involved in any violence or conflict.

Bashagha said : « We will reach the capital, Tripoli, in the next few days, and there will be no other parallel government, and the reason we have not entered Tripoli so far is to avoid the risk of conflict. »

The Libyan Prime Minister designated added that his goal is to lead the country to parliamentary and presidential elections, but he did not specify a time frame, stressing that even if Dbeibeh actually remained in the prime minister’s office in the capital, this would not prevent him from starting his work in Tripoli elsewhere.
