The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity, Najla Al-Mangoush, confirmed during her meeting today, Monday, with her Turkish counterpart, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, in the Turkish capital, Ankara, that the Libyan government will allocate $50 million as a first payment to contribute to the reconstruction of the cities in southern Turkey affected by the earthquake.
In her speech during the press conference with her Turkish counterpart, Al-Mangoush expressed her deep condolences to the people and the Turkish government for the victims of the devastating earthquake that affected several cities in southern Turkey and Syria, stressing the solidarity and support of the Libyan government and people with the brothers of the Libyan people in Turkey and Syria to overcome this ordeal.
