Today, Monday, the Libyan Prime Minister, Fathi Bashagha, discussed, during a meeting with the Minister of Defense, Ahmed Houma, the mechanism of action to support the 5 + 5 committee in its work to unify the military establishment, the continuation of the ceasefire, and the Ministry of Defense’s action plan for the year 2023.
Bashagha stressed the development of a plan to secure the south, repair military educational facilities there, and joint coordination and exchange of reports and security information between the Ministry of Defense and the relevant agencies and their departments, to enhance security cooperation at the ports, tighten control, and review the border security plan.
