Today, Tuesday, the President of the Presidential Council of the Government of National Unity, Mohamed Al-Manfi, met with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Hussein Attia Al-Qatrani, in the presence of the Minister of Water Resources, Tariq Bouflika, and the Minister of Maritime Resources, Adel Mohamed Sultan.
The meeting discussed the urgent work mechanism to address all issues related to food security, water resources, and other service files. The needs of the municipalities of the eastern region were also reviewed, especially with regard to the marine wealth offices in the municipalities.
This was in order to raise its efficiency and improve the level of its services and productivity, in addition to following up on development projects related to water resources, maintenance of wells and water tanks, and the technical feasibility of projects to reach environmental, social and economic sustainability, to improve the strategic framework of the water sector in the country, to achieve sustainable management of water resources, within a clear national water strategy.
