The Head of the Presidential Council Mohamed Al-Manfi, the Head of the Government of National Unity Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Seddik Al-Kabeer, with a number of officials and heads of regulatory bodies discussed the financial situation of the state in light of the current economic situation.
The meeting included the Chairman of the Finance Committee in the House of Representatives, Omar Tantoush, the Minister of Finance in the Government of National Unity, Khaled Al-Mabrouk, the Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority, Suleiman Al-Shanti, and the Head of the Audit Bureau, Khaled Shakshak, in which they discussed achieving the highest levels of transparency and disclosure with regard to revenues, spending, and consultation between the State institutions in this aspect.
The meeting also discussed the progress made in the path of unifying the Central Bank and the efforts made in this direction, discussing the financial conditions of the state in light of the current economic situation, the role of banks in reviving economic activity, alleviating burdens on citizens, launching and supporting value-added projects and activities in the Libyan economy to support the public and private sectors.
