Al-Kabeer meets his Maltese counterpart to follow up on issues of common interest between the two countries

The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Siddiq Al-Kabeer, met with his Maltese counterpart, the Governor of the Central Bank of Malta, Edward Scicluna and his deputy, Alexander Demarco, at the headquarters of the Central Bank of Malta.

The meeting dealt with enhancing joint cooperation in the field of training and development, and ways of exchanging expertise and experiences between the two parties in the banking and financial fields, as well as following up on a number of issues of common interest.

For his part, the Governor of the Central Bank of Malta stressed that his country seeks to establish and strengthen solid banking relations with Libya, given that the banking sector represents the main incubator to encourage investors.
