Al-Huwaij: “The Libyan economy achieved the best growth and financial stability during the era of the National Unity Government compared to the surrounding region”

The Minister of Economy and Trade in the National Unity Government, Mohammed Al-Huwaij, stated during his speech at the opening ceremony of the 49th Tripoli International Fair, organized by the General Exhibitions Authority under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy, that the Libyan economy achieved the best growth and financial stability during the era of the GNU compared to the surrounding region. This is an indicator of strengthening the economic and commercial environment, sustainable economic growth, and transparency in all government actions.

Al-Huwaij explained that, according to the program advocated by the Prime Minister, Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, and as a signal to the world and the Libyan people that the National Unity Government is a government of revitalization, building the private sector, and serving as the effective economic lever for the revitalization of exhibition institutions throughout Libya and the return of all projects that have been stopped for the past 10 years.

He also affirmed that national companies flourished and expanded their activities during the government’s era, and that they represented all their potentials and productions in this session. He added that Libya will build its future with new prospects and that we must remember the true cycles that occurred during the past year and this year, which developed during the era of the National Unity Government.

Al-Huwaij concluded his speech by confirming that next year’s Tripoli International Fair will witness participation from the majority of countries, and that the Unity Government is a government of peace, security, stability, and economic development, despite the circumstances that the country is going through.
