The Minister of Transport in the Government of National Unity, Mohammed Salem Al-Shahoubi, met with the Tunisian Minister of Transport, Rabie Al-Majidi. The meeting was attended from the Libyan side by the head of the Libyan Civil Aviation Authority, Mustafa Ben Ammar and the head of the Airports Authority, Mohamed Bait Al-Mal, and from the Tunisian side, the Director General The Office of Aviation and Airports and the Director General of Tunisair.
Many topics were discussed, the most important of which is settling the financial debts of the Libyan Airlines and Afriqiyah Airways, resolving the outstanding problems at Ras Ajdir Wazen crossings, and the return of operating flights on Tunisian Airlines. The meeting also touched upon discussing the opening of a maritime line between the two countries.
