سفارات الدول الكبرى: الوقت ليس مناسبًا لإجراء تغييرات على الهيئات التي لها دور أساسي في التجهيز للانتخابات

قالت سفارات ألمانيا وإيطاليا والمملكة المتحدة وفرنسا الولايات المتحدة في ليبيا في بيان مشترك اليوم الخميس إن قرار مجلس الأمن رقم 2570 دعا السلطات والمؤسسات الليبية، بما في ذلك حكومة الوحدة الوطنية ومجلس النواب، إلى تسهيل الانتخابات في 24 ديسمبر القادم والاتفاق على القاعدة الدستورية والأساس القانوني للانتخابات بحلول 1 يوليو المقبل.

وأضافت بأن الاستعدادات الفنية واللوجستية مهمة وأساسية إضافة إلى الترتيبات السياسية والأمنية، لذلك فهي تعتقد أن الوقت الحالي ليس هو الوقت المناسب لإجراء أي تغييرات من شأنها التعطيل في الهيئات ذات الصلة، والتي لها دور أساسي في التجهيز للانتخابات خلال الجدول الزمني الذي حدده قرار مجلس الأمن رقم 2570.
