With the ban on several procedures, Al-Huwaij issues a decision regarding inspection and compliance companies

The Minister of Economy, Mohamed Al-Huwaij issued a decree to ban founders, members of the directors board and managers of joint inspection and compliance companies, or to own shares in any import or industrial company for more than 49% of the capital.

The decree also prohibits the suppliers of goods under documentary credits from assigning any of the conformity and inspection companies in which he contributes, owns shares, is managed by one of their relatives up to the fourth degree or with whom they have an affinity relationship.
