The Adviser of the General Secretary of the United Nations, Stephanie Williams, said that she urges the Central Bank of Libya to move forward in implementing the roadmap for reunification of the Central Bank, which applies and takes into account international standards and practices in order to enhance financial and political stability in Libya.
Williams expressed her happiness with the steps taken by the Central Bank of Libya to officially launch the process of reunification of the Central Bank, noting that this initiative is based on the recommendations of the independent financial review of the Central Bank under the auspices of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya.
The Governor of the Central Bank, Al-Siddiq Al-Kabeer and his deputy, Ali Al-Hibri, met yesterday, Thursday, in the Tunisian capital, and confirmed the actual launch of the process of reunifying the Central Bank through a four-stage map.
