Vegetable prices are witnessing a decrease today in the local market in Tripoli

One of the traders of vegetables and fruits in the local market in Tripoli, « Ali », said exclusively, that the prices of vegetables and fruits are witnessing a decrease in the market today, Monday.

Ali, who works in a market in the capital, Tripoli, added that the price of a kilo of onions this morning is 2.5 dinars, while yesterday it was 3.5 dinars, the price of a kilo of tomatoes today was 4.5 dinars, while its price yesterday was 7 dinars, and a kilo of cucumbers today was 8 dinars, and yesterday it was 9.5 dinars.

The price of a kilo of lettuce today is 3 dinars, while its price yesterday is 3.5 dinars, the price of cabbage today is 2 dinars, and yesterday it was 3.5 dinars, and a kilo of lemon today is 3.5 dinars, while yesterday it was 4, in addition to the price of a kilo of hot peppers, which today reached 10 dinars, while its price yesterday was 17 dinars.

The merchant also indicated that the prices of vegetables and fruits will witness a gradual decline after the campaign launched by the Internal Security in the Sunday Market area and the closure of some shops there.
