The Local Government Minister, Badr El-Din Toumi, received the Japanese Ambassador today, Masaka Amadera, and Deputy Head of the Japanese Mission, at the Ministry’s office in Tripoli.
The meeting dealt with areas of cooperation between the two countries in several files related to local administration, the most important of which is supporting decentralization in Libya, enabling municipalities to exercise their powers, and training local administration cadres.
During the meeting, the minister stressed his keenness to open up to the Japanese experience in local administration.
