The Public Prosecution decided to bring the lawsuit against 25 accused employees of the National Commercial Bank branches to the judiciary

The Public Prosecutor of Al-Bayda Partial Prosecution decided to file a lawsuit against 25 accused employees of the National Commercial Bank branches and customers of the bank to the court on charges of falsifying bank accounts and making financial transfers worth more than 20 million dinars.

The Public Prosecutor’s Office stated that the Public Prosecutor had earlier initiated investigation procedures on the activities of a criminal group that designed a scheme to access the National Commercial Bank database and falsify bank account data by including numbers that exceed the real credit balances and making financial transfers that exceeded 20 million dinars and disguising their source by making internal transfers to accounts of people who participated in the criminal project.

He added that the investigator completed the investigation and accusation procedures and decided to file the case to the judiciary in the face of 25 defendants, including directors of the bank’s branches, its employees, commissioners of managing companies’ accounts, in addition to customers of the bank.
