The official dollar exchange rate at the Central Bank of Libya witnessed a significant decline this morning, Sunday, by nearly 2% from the price it was at the end of last week, recording 4.906 dinars to the dollar, which is the lowest level of the exchange rate in the Central Bank since mid-August.
The official exchange rate at the Central Bank of Libya witnessed a decline last week, falling below the 5 dinars barrier, recorded on Thursday, 4.997 dinars, before declining this morning to 4.906 dinars, or 1.8% from its previous rate, which is the first time that the exchange rate reaches this level since the 18th of last August, when it recorded a rate of 4.896 dinars to 1 dollar.
It is worth noting that the official dollar exchange rate at the Central Bank of Libya witnessed a significant increase in the past two months and reached unprecedented levels that reached its peak last September, specifically on the 28th of it, when the exchange rate at the Central Bank reached 5.086 dinars to 1 dollar.
