The Ministry of Finance in the Government of National Unity denied the validity of the circulated paper attributed to Minister Khaled Al-Mabrouk regarding giving orders to the Director of the Budget Department in the Ministry to spend 100,000 dinars in favor of the Joint Operations Force based on the instructions of the Prime Minister, Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh.
In a statement on Monday evening, the Finance Ministry expressed its strong condemnation of what it considered a “fierce and suspicious campaign” targeting the Ministry and the Minister of Finance by circulating misleading news to public opinion to spread strife and chaos, stressing that everything stated in these papersis pure slander and false news.
