The Minister of Economy discusses with the General Secretary of the League of Arab States the economic files in the region

The Minister of Economy and Trade in the Government of National Unity, Mohamed Al-Huwaij, met with the General Secretary of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit.
For his part, Al-Huwaij stressed the need to implement a comprehensive strategy for economic cooperation between Arab countries, as well as activating the Greater Free Trade Zone, activating transit trade, and facilitating procedures and transactions for business owners and investors, with the aim of achieving sustainable development in the Arab region and diversifying the economy.
On the other hand, the General Secretary of the Arab States League praised the success of the 108th session of the Economic and Social Council headed by the State of Libya and the decisions issued by it, stressing the Arab League’s support for the State of Libya by directing business owners and investors to participate in the reconstruction and implementation of investment projects in the State of Libya that achieve economic diversification and enhance its role in the areas of Economy, trade and investment in the region.
