The Minister of Economy asks the Customs Authority to stop the implementation of the Al-Abed decision to grant approval to Mazaya Libya company to export 930 tons of fish

The Minister of Economy and Trade in the National UnityGovernment , Mohammed Al-Huwaij, issued a circular to the Customs Authority to stop the implementation of the decision of the Minister in charge, Ali al-Abed, to grant approval to Mazaya Libya company to export 930 tons of fish, stressing the need to work on the decision of Al-Huwaij to prevent the export of fish.

Al-Abed had assumed the task of the designated Minister of Economy after Al-Huwaij went on vacation last month. During this period, Al-Abed issued a decision approving the export of a quantity of fresh fish and mollusks estimated at about 930 tons for the benefit of the Mazaya Libya company for import and export of fish.

In his correspondence with the Director of the Customs Authority, Al-Huwaij stressed the need to stop Al-Abed’s decision and to abide by the decision to prevent the export of fish of all kinds, which was issued by Al-Huwaij last March.
