The joint committee between the Ministry of Finance and the General Electricity Company, during its meeting on Wednesday morning, discussed settling the company’s debts with public authorities.
The committee followed up the company’s settlements with the Ministry of Finance regarding the requirements for calculating electricity costs and the fuel and gas reconciliations with the National Oil Corporation, Brega Petroleum and Gas Marketing Company and other oil companies.
The meeting discussed the consumption of public entities and the approval of audit scales from the Audit Bureau, in addition to the issue of the company’s tax linkage with the Tax Authority over the past years and exemptions from delay fines.
