The House of Representatives reveals the details of its presidency’s correspondance to the Central Bank Governor regarding the continuation of the payment from Chapters One and Four

The Media Center of the Speaker of the House of Representatives confirmed that the Presidency of the Council demanded the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Siddiq Al-Kabeer to continue disbursing (Chapter One) concerning the salaries with the increments whose laws were approved by the House of Representatives, and (Chapter Four) concerning the support only from the budget for the legally expired caretaker government.

The Media Center of the Speaker of the House of Representatives also denied all rumors circulating on social media pages of suspicious funding, regarding allegations that « the Speaker of the House of Representatives stopped the payment of salaries with the announced increases ».

With the Council confirming that Aqila Saleh stresses in every meeting the need to provide the basic needs of citizens without interruption, because it is a legitimate right of every citizen and must be guaranteed by the executive authority.

The correspondance that addressed the Presidency of the House of Representatives to the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, included that there are items from which the exchange should not be stopped, such as Chapter One and Chapter Four, until the budget law or the decision to exchange is issued by the legislative authority, and the necessary action is taken.

Among the measures, in particular, with his reference to the withdrawal of confidence from the National Unity Government and the formation of a committee to prepare the road map to organize the next phase.
