The Deputy Prime Minister of the Libyan government meets the Italian Consul in Libya

The Deputy Prime Minister Ali Faradj Al-Qatrani received today, Sunday, at the Cabinet Office in Benghazi, the Italian Consul to Libya, Carlo Batori.

Al-Qatrani praised the bilateral relations between the two countries and the means of developing them and activating the agreements, especially the agreement concluded between the two countries in 2008, and that the government’s relationship with the Republic of Italy will be based on mutual respect and appreciation with the possibility of twinning cities to consolidate trade relations between the two countries.

For his part, the Italian ambassador, Batori confirmed that his country will start granting visas to Libyan citizens, and that the procedures for companies wishing to work in eastern Libya will be facilitated.
