The Customs Authority holds a preliminary meeting to prepare the meeting for Djerba regarding the agreement on administrative cooperation with the Tunisian side

The committee assigned by the Libyan side was held today, Tuesday, 24 May, at the headquarters of the General Administration for Combating Smuggling and Drugs, where the meeting included the Director of the General Administration of Technical Affairs and the director of the Office of Legal Affairs at the authority, the representative of the General Administration of Audit and Inspection, in charge of the Tunisian file in the Office of International Cooperation, and the coordinator of Libyan-Tunisian relations at the Ras Ajdir port.

This meeting took place in preparation for the meeting allegedly to be held for the next period with the Tunisian side in the city of Djerba, based on the minutes of the agreement of the Libyan-Tunisian Customs Technical Committee, which took place during May 9-10 of this month in the capital, Tripoli, regarding the formation of a joint committee to follow up the implementation of the administrative cooperation agreement between the Libyan Customs Authority. and Tunisian.
