As an extension of the series of meetings held by the Supreme Committee in charge of implementing and following up the project of the National Unity Government to support fodder in order to preserve livestock and support the segment of breeders throughout Libya, the Committee discussed today, Tuesday, the latest arrangements and preparations for the actual start of the distribution of subsidized feed.
This came during the meeting that was held at the headquarters of the Joint Stock National Company for Flour Mills and Fodders. It included the chairman and general manager of the company, representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Trade, the Libyan Accounting Bureau, the Administrative Control Authority, and the Union of Peasants and Breeders.
The attendees stressed that the objective of the fodder support is to preserve livestock, to deliver the support to its true beneficiaries and not to leak it outside the targets, directing the speedy verification of the numbers in a way that ensures that no harm is inflicted on the breeders.
The Council of Ministers issued Resolution No.31 of 2022, regarding allocating an amount of money for the benefit of the Joint Stock National Company for Flour Mills and Fodders contributing to fodder subsidies in order to preserve livestock wealth throughout the Libyan state.
