A meeting of the Extraordinary Budget Follow-up Committee of the National Oil Corporation was held this morning at the Cabinet Office, in the presence of the Audit Bureau, the Central Bank of Libya and the National Oil Corporation.

It was devoted to following up the implementation of the settlement of the status of employees of the National Oil Corporation and its subsidiaries, which requires conformity with the Ministry of Finance and the preparation of the necessary data for the disbursement of allocations.

Meanwhile, the Director of the Financial Department of the National Oil Corporation stated that the Corporation completed the processing of these data during the past week, and coordination is continuing with the Ministry of Finance.

The meeting also dealt with following up on the implementation of the remaining sections of the exceptional budget approved by the Cabinet’s decision and working on some technical and legal procedures in order to issue financial authorizations.
