The US Ambassador to Libya, Richard Norland, said that he met today with the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Seddik Al-Kabeer and a representative of the Deputy Governor, Ali Al-Hibri to discuss the progress made to unify the Central Bank.
Norland added that during a press conference today thursday, at Corinthia Hotel in Tripoli, there were also talks in this regard, in which distinctive updates were made regarding the unification of the central bank, and six courses of action were identified, expecting that there will be a great development in particular during the coming period.
The US ambassador indicated that the unification of the Central Bank was also discussed during the visit of the Central Bank delegation headed by Al-Kabeer to the United States of America in the past few days.
