On Sunday morning, the Chairman of the Directors Board of the National Oil Corporation, Mustafa Sanalla, met with the advisor of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Stephanie Williams, and her accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, the situation of the oil sector and the difficulties and challenges it experienced during the last period were discussed.

Williams also affirmed the United Nations mission’s full support for the oil sector and its stability, so that the National Oil Corporation can achieve its plans and objectives to increase production rates, in the service of the interests of the Libyan people, stressing the institution’s technical and non-political role aimed at supporting the Libyan economy despite all the challenges it faced.
