International Organization for Migration (IOM) confirmed that over 300 people were returned to Libya by the coast guard yesterday .

IOM stressed that, so far in 2020, more than 1,500 were intercepted or rescued and taken back to Libya.

Most migrants still end up in overcrowded detention centre where they remain vulnerable to further risks.
