The US envoy, Richard Norland, said during the press conference today, Thursday, that the US state strongly calls for investigations and the accountability of perpetrators of crimes, such as what happened in Tarhuna and the disappearance of Member of Parliament “Sergiwa”, and that the US is still committed to protecting civilians.
Richard added that the issue of the constitution depends on the influential political parties in Libya, in the event that they want a full constitution, and who has moved to elections, or a limited constitution rule where the nominations are clear and who has been moved to complete it after running the elections, stressing that the Flexibility with respect to the constitutional base is shown to those who want to run for the presidency.
